July 10, Bye Dad ... Hello Stampede!
Bummer morning. First I managed to shut off the alarm clock instead of hitting snooze and we woke up 7 minutes before we wanted to be out the door ... boo me. We did get going within half an hour and hit the road for the drive to Calgary. We went for a quick bite with Chad before he entered security, only to find out that the flight was delayed. We headed down to the park to drop off some buckles for a friend and saw all of the glory, just adding to the anticipation for tomorrow. We decided that we would get a Timmy's for everyone and saw a free stampede lunch instead (gotta love stampede)! After lunch we hit Chinook Centre and the Lego Store where all of the kids were certified as "Master Builders". Then nana and papa got home from the lake, we had some supper and stayed up too late.
July 9, Dads last day home
Today is Pizza Day. Dad makes home-made pizza that rivals the best in the world. He has it down to a science. It does however take a LONG time to prep. I had a rough day, it is pretty tough to get ready to say goodbye after such a great trip home. In the end it was a goodnight with some quality time together for all!
July 8th, Hunter goes huntin
So today was a day for the boys to do their thing and the girls to do theirs! Faith and I just chilled and hung out together, girl bonding. The boys went to uncle Marks farm and found some gophers. Hunter got to use a 22 instead of his BB. Hunter come home and tells me " I got my first animal today" Oh how they grow, so proud (not sure how to display total sarcasm) He was very proud of himself and had to call Papa and tell him all about it.

July 7th, pool day
Today was a day to relax and slow down. Everyone slept in and generally relaxed. Three tornados touched down in Central Alberta so that kept us on our toes. The kids and I made a nest in the livingroom and watched movies and cuddled with a giant bowl of popcorn!

July 6th, Motorcycle Mini Mama
It was a day to relax, get some laundry done and play at the spray park.
Chad wanted to take our quad out to the farm and bring the bike back into town. He found a very willing participant to accompany him! She loved it & I have never been so happy to hear the bike!
